FAQs

There is a good chance that may still be ordering from us on there, as we sell on Amazon too 😅 Amazon is an online "marketplace" with many sellers just like us on the platform. However, by ordering through our store directly, you get to benefit from discounted prices as well as phone and live chat support

Simply put, we cut out the middle man. A lot of other retailers purchase from a long chain of distributors each adding their own markup and ultimately making the product more expensive. We source our products internationally directly from the brand keeping our costs low so we can pass the savings on to you. All items are guaranteed to work perfectly in the UK 🇬🇧 This means you get top-quality electronics at unbeatable prices, without the big retailer markups!

Absolutely! We use trusted providers like PayPal and Shopify Payments (including Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay) to keep your payment info safe. These methods have strong encryption and fraud protection, so you can shop with confidence!

If you place your order before 2pm (our cut-off time for same dispatch) you will get your order the following day. The only exception is if you place your order on Saturday/Sunday (as we do not ship on weekends). In such cases, we will dispatch it on the following Monday and you'll get it by Tuesday.

Great camera! Almost cheating ..

I have some experience but far from expert .I switched from Cannon to Olympus because of the weather proof design. The the 4/3 sensor doubles your lens reach. The camera also has a digital doubler to farther extend your reach. These pictures were taken at a preserve after having camera 2 days with limited practice. I used the 40-150 pro lens.

A True Masterpiece

Long story short: this is a fantastic photography platform. Maybe the best i’ve ever used. The photo AF is outstanding. The detail, color, and dynamic range of the sensor is superb. The ergonomics of the body are second to none. The EVF is the best i’ve ever seen. And the built in features like GVND, RAW processing, and high ISO dark frame subtraction truly make this a flagship camera.Sensor: The sensor is very well refined and one of the best in m43. It feels like a photography version of the Black Magic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k sensor, which was renowned as having unbelievable image quality from a m43 sensor. Quick readout speeds, great dynamic range and excellent colors. Images from the OM-1 mk2 are better than some full frame cameras i own. It seems to handle high dynamic range scenes better than my Sony a7c, and has much better color in addition to 10bit 4:2:0 video.Auto Focus: Is easily the best photo auto focus i’ve ever used for photography. The subject detection modes work incredibly well. I was able to get some amazingly sharp photos of moving chickens and dogs and other creatures (see photos). Paired with the phase detect system, this camera almost feels like cheating, especially as someone who grew up with only manual focus.

The King Of MFT

Definitely an amazing camera of the M43 Family. Super versatile and compiles almost everything for a photographer and even a videographer.Compared to the full-frame cameras, the M43 has the advantage of lightweight, and much smaller tele-lenses.The image quality of this camera is great, the 20.4-megapixel sensor is at a sweet point, and if you really need high-resolution photos, the handheld/tripod high-resolution mode is very useable. For the video capabilities, it can shoot 4K 60P without any crop. This is pretty important considering the M43 frame usually can't shoot as wide. The auto-focus system is pretty accurate as well. The people's face-tracking experience is on par with top-level full-frame camera brands as far as I tested. The storage option of this camera comes with two SD slots, which is a little bit shame to me, those high-speed SD cards aren't cheap these days. However, considering it can't shoot 4K 120P and in order to keep a compact body, I'm OK with that. The buffer of the OM-1 Mark II is larger than the first generation, which is very useful when shooting at high speed with slower cards. The cons of this camera aren't many, but I found the button customization is not as flexible, and sometimes one button can not be remapped to another function I would like to use. The high ISO performance is not a fault of this camera because of the physical sensor size, and I'm totally fine with that.Overall if you are looking for an M43 master, this is the choice.

Spectacular piece of technology!

This is spectacular camera, with a ton of incredible technology!I'll start with the technology.-Stacked BSI CMOS sensor:This means the the image sensor is incredible sensitivity! The sensor is back thinned and flipped around yielding several extra stops of ISO, and much much less noise. In short it is great low light camera for both still photography and video!-50 frames per second with full autofocus.I shoot a ton of sports, 50 FPS, WITH AUTOFOCUS is amazing for capturing action! The human detection mode also seems to work for this.-4K video looks good.I have not done a serious test with 10 bit, etc.But the files the came straight out of the camera met expectations.-The twin UHS card slots are great feature for me.Unfortunately, many of my old SD cards show a "Card Error" when I insert them, so I will need to do more testing on this.-Wi-Fi connectivity is good and fast. The app allows you to trigger photos/videos and import files from the cameraWorks well for me, and seem solid once the camera is paired with my iPhone.-The buffer is MASSIVE!-The battery is pretty high capacity.I haven't gotten below 50% shooting any events so far.It does take a while to charge, and doesn't charge when you are using the camera plugged in.The Camera:-It is heavy, but a solid heavy, not a heavy heavy. It feels great, like a real camera!-I have not tested it in the rain yet, but the specs for environmental are great.-EVF is sharp and bright and super colorful/saturatedVery nice!-Rear LCD is also pretty impressive.I love that it flips completely around!-Flash:While it does come with a flash, which fully articulates and rotates,I do wish it had a pop up for emergencies.Specs say that it can drive external flashes also, but I have not tried this yet.It does also work well with my Pocket Wizards in the studio.-User Interface - Menus are massive. It is going to take me a while to go through it all.So far I have been able to find everything that I was looking for, and a bunch more!So many great professional features. Little things like copyright tagging are wonderful to have!Image Quality:-It is really great!-Sharp.-Good color.-Crazy low noiseThe only downsides for me for image quality are the 20MP base resolution and the depth of field trade off from the 4/3 sensor.-20MP is great for 90% of my work, but for commercial product shots I often need more.-4/3 DOF is only an issue for some portraits when I want to severely limit it.This is my new action sport camera! It is perfect for this!I'm supper happy that I have it!

15 year pro finds a new love for photography

I've been a photographer for the past 15 years. Started out with an ASP-C, before quickly moving to full frame. I've had the Canon 5Dmkii, mkiii, mkiv, and now have an R5C. All amazing cameras for portraiture. While those cameras are great for professional work, I've found myself less and less likely to pull them out for taking pictures for myself or my family. Too big, too cumbersome, too expensive. As a result I've taken fewer and fewer photos over the years because doing so just felt like work. Then came this camera! For the past month I've taken this camera everywhere. I've shot little videos in LOG. I've commanded external flashes with it. I've shot landscapes. I've even taken selfies with it, it is THAT versatile. I'll admit, at times I do wish the senso could pump out a little more resolution, but then I stop and remember that in all likelihood, if it did, I wouldn't have it with me and the picture would have never been taken in the first place. The lens that comes with this kit is also fantastic. The 12-40 focal length at 2.8 gives you more range than the classic 24-70 in a full frame kit. And the lenses you can get for this thing, price wise, are incredible. I've picked up 3 just in the past month so that I could test them out. While I wouldn't really use this for a professional shoot, I would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get into photography that wants to learn settings and lenses and all the rest as it's incredibly inexpensive to get started with the micro 4/3 system. I'd also recommend it to anyone that needs a travel camera. It's so light and inconspicuous that it's easy to keep on you at all times while not drawing a lot of attention. It's also light enough that I can attach it to a shoulder strap on my hiking back pack and pop it on and off at will.I really can't say enough about this camera. Olympus really did put a lot into a small package and I love them for it.The bad reviews that I've come across on here all seem to have something to do with not getting an extra battery. Whether or not that was part of the description at one point, I don't know, but it seems a real shame to knock the camera so much because of a missing battery. My own cons for this system have to do with the auto-focus and tracking, which, according to what I've read, is much improved over past iterations. Trouble is, coming from an R5C, it's kind of difficult to compare. That said, it's pretty darn good considering what it comes in.
