FAQs

There is a good chance that may still be ordering from us on there, as we sell on Amazon too 😅 Amazon is an online "marketplace" with many sellers just like us on the platform. However, by ordering through our store directly, you get to benefit from discounted prices as well as phone and live chat support

Simply put, we cut out the middle man. A lot of other retailers purchase from a long chain of distributors each adding their own markup and ultimately making the product more expensive. We source our products internationally directly from the brand keeping our costs low so we can pass the savings on to you. All items are guaranteed to work perfectly in the UK 🇬🇧 This means you get top-quality electronics at unbeatable prices, without the big retailer markups!

Absolutely! We use trusted providers like PayPal and Shopify Payments (including Google Pay, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay) to keep your payment info safe. These methods have strong encryption and fraud protection, so you can shop with confidence!

If you place your order before 2pm (our cut-off time for same dispatch) you will get your order the following day. The only exception is if you place your order on Saturday/Sunday (as we do not ship on weekends). In such cases, we will dispatch it on the following Monday and you'll get it by Tuesday.

Easy to Install. Works Awesome for Games and has Great Download Speeds for the price!

This thing is working great so far! The speeds I'm getting are a great upgrade from the USB adapter I had before! My main concern when buying it was that I thought it either wouldn't be compatible or really difficult to install but both of those worries were squashed 10 minutes after it arrived. It took roughly 10 minutes to install because my current graphics card was super close to the slot in goes into on my motherboard and had to take it out first but if not for that it would've taken way less to install. After it was installed physically to my computer I used my old WIFI adapter to install the drivers as I couldn't use the disk it came with, I restarted and everything instantly worked! Super happy with this card so far and will update if I have any more thoughts as time goes on. (p.s. I know those are the worst pictures you've ever seen my phone is old and I'm now too broke to get a new one after all these new PC upgrades)

Overall quality exceeded my expectations!

I have a home office setup in my garage about 50ft from my WiFi Router that is inside my House. My PC is an HP ProDesk 600 with Windows 10 64bit. My ISP is Spectrum at 200Mbps Download Speed. I originally went with a TP-Link AV600 Powerline Adapter to get an internet signal to my garage. Always assumed a hardwire plugin would be the fastest and surest connection type for my needs. With that setup I had just under 40Mbps D/L. Not very fast but it seemed to work ok but unfortunately would continually lose connection a few times a day and the Powerline adapter would need to be unplugged then plugged back in to reset. I tried different outlets in my garage with similar results.
I finally had enough and decided to try this TP-Link AC1300 PCI Express Adapter and all I can say is wow! Took me only 5 minutes to install. I then I installed Broadcom BCM4360 chip Drivers as I heard the drivers from TP-Link website can have issues on some systems. My first speed test showed my speeds increased to around 85Mbps. I was getting one to 2 bars of signal. Since my signal was not consistently great I ordered an Eightwood Dual WIFi Antenna. This has a magnetic base and extends the TP-Link Wifi antenna from my PC to 6.5ft. Once I plugged that in and raised the antenna off the ground as high as I can get. I now am getting 194Mbps! So if you are not in the same room as your router and are not receiving 3 bars. I would recommend to add this antenna extension to get the best signal possible. Made a huge difference for me. The TP-Link AC1300 is now working flawlessly and does not disconnect. Can't believe I am getting this kind of performance from a relatively inexpensive WiFi Card!

Great WiFi card to add to computer without built-in WiFi

This is the V2 of the WiFi card. Purchased 9/2/23.

I had no issues at all installing this card and having it work without any problems.
All I did was use the current drivers from the website. And then reboot after. Nothing else.
No device manager tweaking or any other WiFi changes on my computer or router/modem.
Using Windows 10 and with whatever updates were available as of this date.

The big selling point for me with this particular card was not needing that additional FUSB connection that most of these WiFi cards require for some reason. My motherboard doesn't have that.
And also that huge heatsink!

I went from getting 72mbps download, 15 mbps upload -- with a wired Centurylink DSL connection.
to
T-Mobile 5G, wireless -- 492 mpbs download, 106 upload.
The ping and latency are higher than a wired connection, but that doesn't bother me.

It was time for an upgrade

I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. My desktop had been running off an ancient ASUS network adapter for the longest time. My router and cable plan were much faster than my computer so I had a massive bottleneck. Saw this for sale on Prime Day and finally upgraded. Not only am I using the entirety of my bandwidth, but the ability to use a 5Ghz band for wireless connections made my experience more stable during peak usage in my house. If you're building a new computer or upgrading to a new standard like me, this is a great option. Satisfied with my purchase and will be considering TP-Link when I have to upgrade again.

finally figured out how to get full performance

Tl;DR - This a great card but you need to get BOTH the driver AND the Utility from the tplink website.

Like many other reviewers, I initially had problems with poor signal/download performance. But this card is actually very highly rated all over the internet so I couldn't figure out why I was getting such poor performance. I went back to the tplink website and was looking at drivers and noticed there's another tab for "Utility". I had been letting windows manage the connection but I took a shot and downloaded the utility (yes, it says only for Windows XP/7/8 but yes it works on 10) and started it up - and immediately had a solid connection and full 5G bandwidth. And it has been rock solid for weeks - consistently getting the full 175Mbps down my plan allows.
